Arty pixel puzzler Gravity Lander PRO sets down on planet iPhone
Swiss design stylee
Who would have thought that pinball and landing a spaceship would combine well as a game? The chaps over at Swiss developer buro destruct, that's who.
They've released Gravity Lander PRO, a paid version of their previously free Gravity Lander game.
It's an interesting mix that has you tapping away the various geometric obstacles underneath your rocket in such a way that you successfully land it vertically on the planet's surface.
Additional problems to overcome include pinball bumpers, wheels, lifts, explosives and trampolines.
Take off, landThankfully, you do have the ability to use three boosts per level, lifting your rocket into the sky for a brief time so you gain more time to work out what to do.
As well as its characteristic pixel art - well, what else would you expect from a Swiss design studio? - the game comes with 100 levels, and a cosmic analog synthesizer soundtrack by Balduin.
Gravity Lander PRO is out now, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p, or you can try the free version, with only 52 levels, here. [iTunes link].
