Goo Goo! is a bouncy little physics puzzler about pinging a ball of goo around like a jelly on a catapult. And also getting lost in a massive world map of interlinking rooms and passageways.

Getting your ball about is easy. You just drag your finger out from your gooey sphere to set a speed and trajectory and let go to watch it ping.

It will bounce off some walls, stick to others, and spring off green ones like a bouncy ball on a trampoline. There are spikes to avoid, and gravity wells to mess with.

But instead of a dull procession of levels, these challenges are scattered around open worlds that you can explore at your leisure, and gradually unlock as you find more stars - including those secret green stars.

The game's got a simple blocky presentation and cute sound effects that are all made by a dude's mouth which sounds gross but it works well. And it's from Greg Lobanov who made the lovely Sling It! so you know it's worth a look.

Goo Goo! is out now on the iOS App Store and Android via Google Play. It costs 79p / 99c. Or you can get it on PC for whatever price you want.
