It's been a fortnight which means only one thing... it's time for SEGA to reveal their next SEGA Forever title. This time it's one of my all-time favourite classic games, Golden Axe.
Originally released in 1990 for the Mega Drive, in the hack 'n slash, side-scrolling arcade game Golden Axe you'll play as one of three characters to take on, and defeat, the mighty Death Adder. Travel across the levels collecting potions, battling fantastical bad guys, and casting spells to unleash your ultimate moves.
Aside from going free to play, this latest release of the game offers up cloud saves, controller supports, and leaderboards to keep that competition going long after the game's been bested.
