God of Blades gets asynchronous multiplayer, new environments, and more in update
Stepping up
White Whale Games has released its very first content update for Pocket Gamer Bronze Award-winning God of Blades - and it's a pretty substantial one.
For starters, there's a new game mode called Revenant. In this mode you have to create and customise your very own warrior and send him into an asynchronous multiplayer battle against one of your buddies's heroes
You can improve your soldier's chances of victory by outfitting him with custom helmets and armour sets.
Furthermore, this update introduces two new environments: an ethereal plane that acts as the breeding ground for giant space jellyfish called Star-Striders, and a subterranean underground cavern known as the Cave of Memory.
Last but not least, White Whale Games has now made it possible to unlock this game's powerful Loreseeker weapons using both Loreseeker and run-of-the-mill sword points.
Oh, and the game's on sale, too. So if you fancy taking God of Blades for a spin, it'll only cost you 69p / 99c.
