Ghosts 'N Goblins: Gold Knights jumps out of the iPhone earth

Sir Arthur dons his loincloth and lance once more

Ghosts 'N Goblins: Gold Knights jumps out of the iPhone earth

It's not long since Capcom casually broke our hearts by hinting at some kind of Ghosts 'N Goblins action on the iPhone during its Tokyo Game Show presentation, and already Sir Arthur has appeared on the App Store.

Ghosts 'N Goblins: Gold Knights very much takes the approach seen on the PSP in 2006's Ultimate Ghosts 'n Goblins, with full 3D visuals for the scrolling platformer, extra weapons and power-ups.

You step into the loincloth and armour either as series stalwart Sir Arthur or as the impetuous Lancelot as you run, jump, and shoot your way through one of the hardest platformers ever seen.

As well as upgrading your armour and weapons during play, Camcom's added in some DLC to Ghosts 'N Goblins: Gold Knights to 'further customise your experience'.

The game's on special offer at £1.79 until November 23rd, so hit the 'Buy It!' button to dig your way out of the App Store graveyard and reanimate Ghosts 'N Goblins: Gold Knights.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
