Capcom's Ghostbusters Puzzle Fighter goes into softlaunch on iOS

Just the other week we told you about a new Ghostbusters game from Capcom's casual subsidiary Beeline Interactive, and now here it is in Canadian softlaunch.

Ghostbusters Puzzle Fighter is, in Beeline's words, “part puzzler, part card game, part RPG”. That means it involves some match-three puzzling, some character card collecting, and presumably some levelling up.

We'll have a proper hands on for you later today.

The most interesting thing we can pick up from the screenshots is that Ghostbusters Puzzle Fighter has conspicuously eschewed the progressive slant of the forthcoming film, in which the major parts will be played by women.

The App Store description promises a large selection of original Ghostbusters characters, but it's difficult to tell who's who because the women have all been made over in the Playboy style.

The screenshots showcase a selection of preposterously large-breasted, toned, and virtually nude female characters, one of whom has snakes for hair and a bra made of scales, for you to obtain and wield against your opponents.

Thoughts?
