[Update] Indie platformer George: Scared of The Dark looks to be spookily adorable, out now
Update 20th July 10:00 AM: George: Scared of The Dark is out at last on the App Store.

Despite its colourful and appealing appearance, our review saw it in less favourable terms despite its enjoyable levels. But at £1.29/$1.99, it's well worth picking it up and giving it a go.

Get it here for iPhone on iTunes now.

George: Scared of The Dark is an utterly adorable classic platformer from developer Alex Petlenko about a ghost who's afraid of the dark – aww.

With a mysterious spirit for company, battle through ten generated levels, master three power-up abilities and unlock three characters while you're at it, to help George complete his quest and conquer his fear.

The design is cute to another degree and moreover looks to be a relatively well-built platformer considering its one-man team. The game will certainly make a nice addition to the classic genre.

Watch this space for updates. George: Scared of The Dark will be available on iOS on July 18th 2016 for £1.49/$1.99. Until then you can learn more about the game on this site.
