If you somehow haven't already been made aware by the sheer onslaught of themed updates, articles, etc – today is Valentine's Day. The latest game to come along and remind you of your crushing loneliness and slow crawl towards oblivion is Garena Free Fire.

Today's content drop adds a number of neat rewards for players to collect, including a Legendary S35 Valentines Cupid skin for your AK47. How romantic… You'll also have the chance to nab yourself the Valentine Duo skin, the heart parachute, and more.

Chocolates, a new currency, have been added. These act as tokens for the Valentine's event, set to run until February 16th. After every match played, you'll earn the 'Love Flow After Match' drop up to five times a day. Starting today, you can also claim 10 Valentine royale vouchers by logging in.

You'll be able to enjoy DUO Mode challenges that reset daily during the event. Completing these will get you those all-important chocolates, which can then be used to purchase, for example, a Valentine's Day T-shirt, a weapon royale voucher, the heart parachute, and a valentine loot crate.

A special 'Friend Callback' event also kicks off today. Basically, you can earn rewards by inviting players to your match and being invited yourself. This will run until February 21st. And on February 19th, the fan-favourite Blood Moon will return to the Incubator. Check out the trailer above to see what that's all about.

In other Free Fire news, we recently covered the game's upcoming crossover with popular MMO Ragnarok, which is set to arrive in March. If you're yet to give it a go, you'll find Garena Free Fire available for download now as a free-to-play title from both the App Store and Google Play. It's well worth a go, even if just to see what all the fuss is about.
