iOS and Android Game of the Week - your vote needed
|

Every week, thousands of new games smash into the App Store and Google Play. Trying to pick out the diamonds amid the fragments of broken glass is no easy task.

We like to think we do a pretty good job with our news articles, mid-week round-ups, expert reviews, and comprehensive features, but we also want to know what YOU think.

Every Thursday, we're going to ask you to pick the best game released on iOS and Android that week (from the nominations below), and then we'll announce the winner in a glamorous article next Monday.

There are loads of places to vote. Leave a comment at the bottom of this article, reply to our Game of the Week tweet, or answer the poll on Facebook.

The nominations
Impossible Road (iPhone, iPad) Navigate hairpin bends, breakneck jumps, and vicious banked curves as you guide a vessel down a roller coaster-style track in search of a high score.
Angry Birds Friends (iPhone, iPad, Android) Use power-ups to fling more birds, pop more pigs, and splinter more wooden boards than your Facebook friends across a variety of weekly tournaments.
Sid Meier's Ace Patrol (iPhone, iPad) Use strategy, cunning, and one of 30 authentic World War I aircrafts to take down enemy pilots as you complete more than 120 turn-based missions.
Dig! (iPhone, iPad) In Dig!, your aim is to help a sub-par archaeologist called Douglas Chase avoid a pesky mummy and dig up the treasures and trinkets that litter his otherwise underwhelming backyard.
Running with Friends (iPhone, iPad) Do you think you can dodge charging bulls, avoid speeding cars, and shirk flying barrels while outrunning and outscoring your friends on the streets of Pamplona, Spain? Prove it.
Blitz Brigade (iPhone, iPad, Android) Blitz Brigade is a colourful Team Fortress 2-style FPS in which you compete with and against other players from around the world in multiplayer firefights.
