GTS World Racing heading to iPhone

Arcade-style driving game looks fab

Product: GTS World Racing (iPhone) | Developer: Pazzazz | Publisher: Astraware | Genre: 3D, Racing
So far, when it comes to iPhone racing games, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart and Cro-Mag Rally have had the App Store to themselves, pretty much.

Well, now they've got some competition, in the form of Astraware's GTS World Racing, which is due to hit the App Store in the next few days.

The game lets you race on 64 different track layouts spread between 16 locations, with three car types to choose from. Want more stats? There's four different play modes, and four difficulty levels.

Naturally, steering is handled by tilting the iPhone. The four modes are Single Race; Challenge Cup; Grand Tour (this involves racing on every single track); and Championship, which has a 16-race season.

The game also offers the option to use your own music as the soundtrack, which is something we'd like to see in all iPhone games.

Want to see it in action? Check out the video below..

Wow, sounds great. I'd definately give this a try before Urban Asphault. I'm kinda tired of the street racing "thug" style of racing games that have been all the rage for the last decade.

Still not sure about the control interface, he doesn't seem to be doing much braking in the demo, not sure why handling is worse in the 'Formula' car either!
