GAME OF THE DAY - Card Quest is pretty much the perfect single player card adventure
|

A new day has dawned, which means it's time for us to pick another #gameoftheday. What's that, you might be asking. Well, it's our initiative to make sure you're only ever playing the very best mobile games. Bad mobile games are the worst, and we've taken it upon ourselves to guard you against them.

Today's pick is the amazing card-based dungeon crawl Card Quest. We'll get to that in a moment, but while we've got your attention why not click here and check out every game that's received this prestigious award. There are loads of them, and - strangely enough - they're all awesome.

Card Quest

Sometimes it can feel like there are only two options for card game fans on mobile - you either get caught up in the multiplayer antics of something like Hearthstone, or else play a lighter single player experience. Well, Card Quest offers up a third option - it's an amazing, in-depth solo experience that's going to have you playing for hours on end.

You pick a class at the start of each adventure, then build your deck as you fight through hordes of zombies, rats, goblins, and more. You need to learn the strengths and weaknesses of your character and cards, and figure out how to deal with enemies that want nothing more than to chow down on your face.

When we reviewed Card Quest we said "it's fun, it's thick, and it shows that with some new ideas and excellent implementation, the solo card-crawl has a lot to offer." And then we gave it a Gold Award. Click here and you can read our Card Quest review in its entirety. Not to brag, but it's a pretty good review.
