It might seem strange to use one of the best known social networking sites - especially one that boasts over 100 million avatars - as a comparison but numbers aside, Habbo Hotel seems to be the obvious foil with the just launched Funji Home.

The similarities hold because on Fuiji you can customise your avatar through more than 2,000 combinations, as well as personalising your own room in terms of background and decorative items. You can also publish your efforts to Facebook or save them out as wallpapers.

But the whole point of the experience is to social and go and visit your friends' rooms, as well as collecting points that will enable you to do more customisation.

Interaction between avatars happens with text and dance. Oh. Yes. Avatars have random dance moves when touched and Funji Inc will be updating these animations in terms of themes such as Disco or Summer Holiday to keep everything fresh.

Funji Home is priced at $2.99, however, for a limited time, it's available at $0.99 or £0.59.
