Freeverse to publish On The Rocks iPhone games
Thor and Legion of Amon coming soon
Icelandic developer On The Rocks Productions has announced that it's teaming up with mobile gaming stalwart Freeverse to publish its two new iPhone games.
"We are very excited about partnering up with Freeverse and we believe that both studios will benefit greatly from this partnership in the future," says On The Rocks's Brynjar Gigja.
Thor is an iPhone adaptation of the forthcoming animated film, so details on the plot are still being kept fairly quiet. The game pits you as the Norse God of Thunder in a side-scrolling adventure across four worlds.
On The Rocks's other development is a graphically intensive, Diablo-inspired RPG called Legion of Amon, in which you find yourself in the middle of a war between the demon Amon and his enslaved, cultist followers.
"On The Rocks Productions is one of the most purely talented studios we've come across and we're thrilled to be working with them to bring these amazing games to the iPhone," says Freeverse president Ian Lynch Smith.
There's no news on release dates yet, but Tracy's tested out both games at this year's GDC, so hopefully it won't be too much longer.
