This cracking Halloween update will give you Fortnitemares
Plenty to sink your fangs into this holiday season
We know you've heard dregs of information regarding Fortnite's version 6.2 update and now it's finally here, hurrah! You've had plenty to chew on since Season 6 landed of course, so here's a bit more for funsies.
In terms of weapons, there's a cool Six Shooter gun available for some cowboy-style action. For those loving Playground Mode you can get your hands on a bunch more stuff in-game, like Port-A-grenades, and you've got four mini-games-like modes to play with. Oh, and the Rocket Launcher's had an aesthetic makeover, perfect for this season of spooks. Don't forget to keep up-to-date with our fantastic Fortnite tips, tricks, and guides!
As I'm sure you've heard already, you can now re-deploy your Glider when jumping from heights above 10m. This one'll be interesting to see, especially if you can re-deploy your Glider when falling (i.e. if your structure's been shot down or if you've been impulsed off a cliff).
The most exciting part of this new update is Fortnitemares, however. You'll see in the video above, but this limited-time mode has you fighting Cube Monsters, picking up awesome loot, and surviving enemy players, duh.
