Fortnite's newest update fixes some minor issues but we're really just waiting on Port-a-Fort

Earlier today the Fornite servers went down for a little TLC while the game's most recent update was implemented. On PC there's a host of new, and some old, features and the curious-looking Port-a-Fort. While it's not made its way to mobile just yet, it's definitely coming.

After it launched on iOS officially a couple of weeks back and continued raking in millions per day (beating out Clash Royale, Candy Crush, and Pokemon GO), Epic has been constantly improving the mobile experience.

Version 3.5 is no exception, tweaking the graphics of vegetation, skybox builds, and anti-aliasing, the audio indicator, and fixing a selection of bugs. You can see the full patch notes here.

The things we're really waiting for are the new Port-A-Fort item and 50v50 game mode. As you could probably guess, the Port-a-Fort gives you a quick pop-up defensive tower made out of metal. If you suck at building, like me, this may be a saving grace if you can get your hands on one.

Meanwhile, the 50v50 game mode sends you into battle in two different buses and, obviously, pits you against half of the competitors. This mode'll offer up more loot spawns and big ol' forts to mess around with, though this isn't a permanent fixture. We don't know exactly when it'll be coming, but we're looking forward to the carnage when it drops.
