Psychoz Interactive has announced that its third-person survival horror game Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities will be out for iOS on April 23rd.

It will also be coming to Android and PS Vita (PC and Wii U too) at a later date.

As our hands-on with Forgotten Memories showed, this is a creepy traipse through an abandoned asylum filled with dark corners and mannequins.

You play as Rose Hawkins as she searches for a missing girl. She woke up wounded and stuck in this asylum, seemingly frozen in time.

Forgotten Memories is inspired by the seminal horror games of the '90s such as Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Alone in the Dark.

Making this connection to old-school horror stronger is voice acting by Guy Cihi and David Schaufele, both of whom lent their voices to Silent Hill 2, and now to Forgotten Memories.

"Our goal was to create a mobile game that reaches the quality of console productions," the game's producer and art director Wilfried Marcadet said.

"After three years of development, we're really happy and proud to offer a high quality experience on mobile devices."
