Flat Pack sees Nitrome making the leap into the third dimension on iOS and Android

If you're a fan of the quirky platformer Fez, keep on reading because Nitrome's upcoming title Flat Pack has the same sort of vibes.

Flat Pack is an upcoming, box-like platformer with 2D characters with a neat mechanic - the whole thing's centred around a 3D box. Using all of the usual platformer tropes, you have to make your way across each level until you reach your goal.

Here's where things get tricky, however, as the two separate parts of a level can smash together and projectiles can curve and follow your around the box-like environment.

Though the game's still in mid-development, Flat Pack looks pretty cool and provides an interesting way to break up a fairly simplistic genre.
