Infamous indie auteur Phil Fish has revealed that his curious Xbox Live Arcade puzzler Fez will eventually be "out on pretty much everything" - including Vita and iOS.

In a Reddit Ask Me Anything session - to celebrate the announcement that Fez is heading to PC in May - Fish revealed his plans to port the game to as many platforms as possible.

So, he's "working with Sony and trying to figure something out" for PS Vita, and is "working with Ouya on a port". He says that "iOS is also highly probable".

3DS fans are out of luck, though. "People keep assuming Fez would be a no-brainer on 3DS," Fish says, "but in truth it would be kind of pointless."

"The game is practically always shown in isometric 3D, and there's never any perspective there. I don't think it would work."

Fez

Fez, if you haven't played it, is a platformer set in impossible Escher-like worlds in which you can shift the perspective at any time to reveal passageways or doors.

And if you spin the camera in such a way that two distant platforms line up in your viewpoint, you can simply hop between them.

The game's evocative world is full of cryptic puzzles and conundrums, including mysterious owls, secret rooms, astronomical hints, a Tetris-inspired number system, a whole alphabet of foreign glyphs, and even a few QR codes.

We'll let you know when we hear more about these portable ports.
