At its E3 2015 press conference, Bethesda announced that a brand new Fallout game would be released for iOS. And what do you know, it's available right now on the App Store.

It's called Fallout Shelter, and it's all about building the perfect underground dwellings for your little apocalypse survivors. You'll have to keep them happy, alive, and safe from the dangers of the wasteland.

You can also train and equip your citizens before sending them off on mini Fallout adventures on the surface, and hope they come back alive with sweet loot for your vault.

It looks a little like This War of Mine, but with a more cheerful, colourful skin. Or an underground Tiny Tower. The game is free to play, with in-app purchases. But well worth a look for those itching to play Fallout 4 on console this November.

Fallout Shelter is exclusive to iOS right now, and requires a iPhone 5, iPad Mini 2, iPad 3, or later. But in a tweet, Bethesda boss Pete Hines said "we will have info later about Android version".
