Do you like things that go vroom? Do you like cars that look more like rocket ships than actual cars?

Well then you’re in luck, because F1 2016 has driven onto the App Store with a screech of tyres and a squeal of other, different tyres.

If you’re worried this is going to be a free to play knock off, then worry ye not. The game will set you back £6.99 / $9.99. And for that it looks like you get a fully fledged mobile version of the driving around really fast sim.

It’s the official app as well, so that means it’s got all the drivers and all the circuits from the 2016 championship. You can compete in a full season, a single race, or get in on some time trial action.

And on top of all that you also get weekly events that let you show everyone else that you’re the best thing to happen to F1 since Nigel Mansell’s moustache.

The game is out right now, you’ll need at least 2.67GB of space to install it, and at least a first generation iPad Air, a second generation iPad Mini, an iPad Pro, an iPhone 5S, or an iPod Touch 6 to run it.

If you tick all of those boxes, then why not use the handy buy link that I’m about to add to the end of this sentence [buy].
