With leap years occurring once every four years, Uppercut Games is celebrating this rare occasion by trimming a few bob off the price of its Silver Award-winning iOS cover shooter Epoch.

This Unreal Engine-powered sci-fi TPS - now available for just 69p / 99c - sees you fight for your life as a robot living in a world overrun with battling mechs.

Epoch scored major points from us for its tailored touchscreen controls: through simple taps and swipes on-screen, you can gun down robots in your search for a princess.

Ultra-hard

Newcomers will benefit from Epoch's recent update, which added new weapons, armour, improved enemy AI, bug fixes, and an Ultra difficulty mode.

Epoch is available from the App Store now on iPhone and iPad for the reduced price of 69p / 99c, and will return to its regular price on March 1st.

Miss this sale and you may have to wait until February 29th, 2016, for its price to drop again.
