Get ready to smash shapes together in Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov's upcoming puzzler Dwice
Dwicing with dweath
You might remember that earlier in the year we reported on the first iOS game from Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov.
It was called Marbly, it was pretty ugly, and it received a solid 6 from us.
We said that it "looks like it was made in the '80s, but it provides a hefty challenge and it's free".
Well, Pajitnov and WildSnake Software are back with a new puzzler.
It's called Dwice, and it will hit the App Store on November 7th.
First off, Dwice is a bit better looking than its predecessor. In it, you drag tumbling shapes around the screen to connect them together in matching chains.
Let one slip by, or add an incorrect shape to a chain, and it's Game Over. It's tougher than it sounds, plus there are challenges to complete to keep you on your toes.
Dwice will go live on the App Store this Thursday for £1.49 / $1.99. And if you're into fast-paced puzzlers, it's probably worth a look.
