Dungeon Hearts Blitz is a F2P version of Devolver Digital's match-3 RPG for iOS and Android

Devolver Digital has released Dungeon Hearts Blitz on iOS and Android today.

It's an unusual game from the Hotline Miami and Luftrausers publisher. Devolver typically deals with assuredly "hardcore" titles. But this is a free-to-play match-3 action puzzler, clearly intended for casual play sessions.

The explanation is that it's a reiteration of Cube Roots's match-3 RPG Dungeon Hearts, which Devolver also published.

So that's that puzzle solved. There are plenty more available for you in Dungeon Hearts Blitz to crack into, as well.

Don't expect them to be too testing, mind. The boast is that it only takes "2 simple taps to play!" It's simple puzzling with a layer of strategy beneath it.

Dungeon Hearts Blitz

You're tasked with defeating enemies with your party of fighters by matching tiles of the same colour. You just tap any two tiles to swap them.

A tactical layer is introduced as you have to make sure you're attacking, defending, and healing at the right time to win the battles.

You'll also need to collect runes and find the best combination of them to fight through the game's 150 dungeons.

If you fancy giving it a shot you can download Dungeon Hearts Blitz for free on the App Store [download] and Google Play [download] right now.
