Duet and Phoenix HD are first games to use iOS 9's new screen-capturing ReplayKit feature
I'm gonna be PewDiePie!
Here, have some video of Duet using iOS 9's ReplayKit so I can embed it in a Pocket Gamer story. pic.twitter.com/MammPVisya

Brutal dodge 'em up Duet and feisty shmup Phoenix HD are among the first games to support Apple's new ReplayKit tech in iOS 9, which lets you save a video of your in-game exploits.
When you turn on the feature you'll be asked if you want to record the screen only, or the microphone too (so you can try your hand at our job). Then, the game will capture a video of whatever happens on screen.
At the end, you'll get to save the video to your camera roll, or share it online using the traditional share sheet. So you can slap it on Twitter or upload to YouTube or Vimeo.
The videos are pretty small, with our Duet recordings coming in at around 30mb a minute. You can check out the quality in the video, above.
Game developers will have to specifically code in support for the technology so don't expect to record your Minecraft or World of Tanks adventures until the developers shove it in. But, hey, it's a start.
