You have to give the developer of Draggy Dead props for their impressive bandwagon jumping skills.

Not only does Draggy Dead join the Flappy Bird/Crossy Road school of app naming, it also drags zombies into the mix.

Despite this, Draggy Dead isn't completely unoriginal. It plays rather like a simplified ball maze game, as you drag a large rolling clump of zombie heads through an endless twisting course.

There are hazards to avoid, power-ups to collect, and plenty of surface-level customisation options to unlock. It's all pretty shallow, and the level of undead humour is puerile, but the game's jittery inertia-based steering system has a certain appeal.

All in all, Draggy Dead is a pretty dumb and ugly endless runner, but it's not entirely without originality - contrary to first impressions.

A twitchy control system ensures that Draggy Dead is not quite DOA, but it won't live too long on your iPhone or iPad
