Nintendo's next mobile release is exciting and a little unexpected as it's partnered up with Cygames (Shadowverse) to bring us an original RPG, Dragolia Lost.

Granted, information is seriously limited at the moment but we know a few things:

  • This is an all-new action RPG which looks like it'll use a 3D, chibi-style design - a little like Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition
  • There's already a Japanese trailer you can watch (above).
  • Pre-registrations have already started
  • Dragalia Lost should be arriving this year - summer in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau (Gematsu), with a European and US launch following at some point

There's no further information regarding pricing, though I'd be surprised if Ninty didn't continue with their free-to-play venture. It's been the model that has most worked for them thus far, but hopefully they'll steer away from trying to squeeze too much cash out its users. Only time will tell.
