Apps World 2016 - Dr Harrison and the Blood Crystals leaps into second place at the Big Indie Pitch

It was incredibly tight at this year's Big Indie Pitch at Apps World, and Dr Harrison and the Blood Crystals just missed out on taking home all the plaudits.

As it turns out, Dr Harrison ended up in a not too shabby at all second place, and it deserved to be there.

It's an incredibly slick and polished multiplayer platformer in which you have to complete a series of difficult levels played out in a comic book.

Meanwhile, a friend or two will compete with you on their own phones. When you're finished, you can compare how long it took you to complete all of the levels, as well as how many times you failed. This way it's easy to see who walked away with the competition.

It's not a particularly long experience, but we didn't see everything that it had to offer. We can tell you that it felt really fun to play and posed a good challenge. It's just so polished.

So congratulations to Dr Harrison and the Blood Crystals for winning second prize, and we wish the developer luck with the upcoming launch.
