Just as the English language brought us William Shakespeare and William McGonagall, so the App Store has brought us Doodle Jump and now Doodle Farter.

Created by Belarusian studio Apalon - famed for games such as 100 Nazi Scalps and toilet tickler Drunk Sniper - as the title makes clear it's a tilt platform bouncing game where your boosts come from eating enough hamburgers and hotdogs to fuel your gut-retching fart power.

Alternatively, you can play in Zombie mode, where you have to eat brains to gain a bottom rocket.

And you know what? Your friends on OpenFeint, Facebook, and Twitter are just waiting for you to tell them how high you intestinal gas has got you.

Doodle Farter is out now, priced 99c, €0.79 or 59p.
