Dodge Blast is a retro-looking space shooter, out now for the iPhone and iPad

Dodge Blast is a cutesy arcade shooter, available now on iPhone and iPad.

I say 'cutesy', I actually mean cutely retro as we're faced with an up-scrolling, blaster game painted in bold pinks, blues, teals, and whatnot, all brought together in a 16(ish)-bit art style.

The aim of the game is to avoid obstacles and shoot space enemies in order to get the highest score you can. Dodge left and right, and don't forget to pick up your space coins, otherwise you'll miss out on unlocking new ships.

There's a variety of different weapons to use, ranging from quick-fire attacks to chain attacks, as well as a killer boss battle of two to try and dominate further down the line.
