Disney Dreamlight Valley - Lobster Roll recipe and where to find ingredients

In Dreamlight Valley, cooking is a core part of gameplay. Meals can be sold to various vendors or eaten by your character in order to keep their energy - which is used for virtually every action outside of walking, much like in Stardew Valley - as high as possible. We’ve already covered a variety of recipes, including Sushi rolls and Tekka Maki. Now, we’re back with another recipe and where to find the ingredients used in it.

This time, it’s the Lobster Roll. As with the other recipes we’ve covered, you’ll need to already have your hands on the Cooking Station and Fishing minigame, as well as the necessary biomes mentioned below in order to acquire the ingredients. Once you've made this recipe at least once, it will be contained in your journal, allowing you to make it as and when you require (so long as you have the ingredients). As we advised last time, if you can get a hold of Moana’s Boat, a vendor stall that is gained as a reward for increasing friendship with her, you can use it to also acquire Lobster alongside other seafood.

So with that in mind, here’s how to make the Lobster Roll in Dreamlight Valley and how to acquire the ingredients needed to create this delicious recipe.

Lobster Roll recipe

  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Lemon
  • Lobster
  • Wheat

You can acquire Lobster, as just mentioned, through fishing - specifically in the Glade of Trust biome. Wheat naturally needs to be grown and harvested, and seeds can be bought from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow. Garlic, meanwhile, must be picked when found in the Forest of Valor. Butter has to be purchased from Chez Remy - an exclusive location run by Remy that needs to be unlocked with a quest. Finally, Lemon can be harvested from Lemon Trees in areas such as the Glade of Trust and the Forest of Valor.

Gather these ingredients and you’ll have enough to make the Lobster Roll. Like other recipes, this has a high selling price, can be used for certain quests (we won’t spoil which!) and will keep up your character’s energy if consumed. You can also place your meals as pseudo-decorations, if you want to set a full table in your home or elsewhere.
