Slice and dice rats in Bethesda's take on Fruit Ninja

Bethesda Softworks has just released Dishonored: Rat Assassin, a mobile tie-in to its upcoming Dishonored console game. You can download it right now on your iPhone.

In this vermin-filled slice-'em-up, you're tasked with, well, slicing and dicing dirty rats across three different game modes in a Fruit Ninja-esque fashion.

The three game modes are Assassination, which allows you to play until you make a mistake; Challenges, which tasks you with achieving a set number of points; and Timed, in which you compete against the clock.

As you play, you unlock new blades and other useful items, such as backgrounds and music tracks.

I've just spent ten minutes with Dishonored: Rat Assassin, and it's pretty much what you'd expect from a Fruit Ninja clone. If you like Halfbrick's juicy slasher, you should also like this effort.

Dishonored: Rat Assassin is free, so give it a whirl.
