If you were old enough to play video games back in 1984, you may remember spending a few hours with ZX Spectrum classic Deus Ex Machina.

For those of you who weren't born back then - or simply don't remember this cult title - Deus Ex Machina charted the life (conception, growth, evolution, and death) of a defect within "the machine".

Why the history lesson, though?

Well, Automata Source is currently working on Deus Ex Machina 2. More specifically, Automata Source is working on Deus Ex Machina 2 for iOS and Android.

Details are pretty scarce. However, we do know that it will star Sir Christopher Lee, and will be released (hopefully) sometime during the autumn.

According to Automata Source's website, the studio is actively working on another four titles, too.

These are re-imagined arcade-adventure Thanatos; a strange treasure-hunting title called PiMania; free-to-play music game The Musician Magician; and 1001 Nights, which is, unfortunately, tightly under wraps.

Automata Source doesn't specifically state on its site that the abovementioned four titles are heading to smartphones and tablets, but we've definitely got our fingers crossed.

More info as we get it.
