Deus Ex: The Fall, Square Enix's semi-sequel to console hit Deus Ex: Human Revolution won't hit the App Store at midnight this evening as planned.

You can put your pitchforks away, folks. It won't be out at midnight this evening because it's available to download around the world right this second. Got ya.

Set in the same year as its PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 counterpart, Deus Ex: The Fall follows former British SAS mercenary Ben Saxon as he attempts to uncover the truth behind the global conspiracy that's threatening his life.

Like Human Revolution's Adam Jensen, Saxon is augmented with several advanced prostheses, which allow him to learn and upgrade social, hacking, and offensive skills.

Using said skills, you can waste any enemies that happen to cross your path, or skulk through the shadows and complete your missions without causing trouble. It's completely up to you.

Deus Ex: The Fall supports Game Center, and takes up 1.5GB on your device. You'll also need either an iPad 3 and above, iPad Mini, iPhone 4S and above, or iPod Touch 5 and above. iPad 2 users are, sadly, out of luck.

You can grab it from the App Store now for £4.99 / $6.99. We'll have a full review, soonish.
