Deadliest Catch: Seas of Fury - About as deadly as a paper cut

I don't know what grates more in Deadliest Catch: Seas of Fury - the repetitive gameplay, or the repetitive music (an oddball remix of Drunken Sailor).

Probably the gameplay, which tasks you with tapping on fish to shoo them away from your crab haul.

Oh, and there's a super simple power meter to master, too. It's hard to call it engaging.

There's a whole upgrade system with lines and lures and jackets - but nothing is desirable (like the bigger guns in Ridiculous Fishing, say). It's only there to give you things to buy with in-app purchases.

Deadliest Catch: Seas of Fury has one boring idea at its core, and then fails to ever make it interesting
