Prepare to feed Om Nom throughout the ages in ZeptoLab's Cut the Rope: Time Travel

ZeptoLab has revealed the latest entry in its incredibly popular Cut the Rope series. As you'll already be aware from reading the headline, it's a time-oriented adventure called Cut the Rope: Time Travel.

Aside from confirming the game's existence and supplying us with an extremely cute teaser trailer (posted below), the Russian developer is remaining relatively coy about this upcoming threequel.

However, a pair of images from a Burger King tie-in promotion has provided us with some clues about what we can expect from ZeptoLab's newest candy-distributing opus.

In the picture on the left, which is being used to advertise free Cut the Rope: Time Travel level codes for a PC-based micro-game, we can see two versions of the game's lovable green star Om Nom.

While the classic Om Nom we know and love is clearly visible, he is sitting next to another Om Nom decked out in pirate garb. Does this mean Cut the Rope: Time Travel will involve your feeding more than one Om Nom at once?

In the other promo image (on the right), Om Nom is shown in a Viking-era helmet. From the look of things, then, we're going to be visiting various Om Noms from throughout the ages.

Was there candy in ancient Rome? Did the Vikings all have sweet tooths? I suspect we're about to find out.

According to IGN, Cut the Rope: Time Travel is heading to iOS and Android. And, apparently, it's "almost here". In the meantime, however, check out the trailer for this upcoming game for yourself.
