Happymagenta's Cube Koala is probably the only game you'll play this year where you play as a koala "placed in a kafkaesque tesseract containing deadly traps".

Your goal is to get a cube-shaped Koala to the goal by rotating the entire level, which manipulates gravity and sends your Aussie animal friend flying to the wall or ceiling - and hopefully away from spikes.

Things soon ramp up in difficulty when you start to face disintegrating platforms and massive great buzzsaws. And then there are the ultra punishing Dark World levels. It's all a bit Super Meat Boy, basically.

The game's free, but you can spend on an in-app purchase to get rid of adverts. You can also skip tricky levels by watching adverts, but only if you're a terrible wuss.
