Command and Conquer: Red Alert out now on iPhone

Touchscreen warfare now yours to command

Product: Command and Conquer: Red Alert (iPhone) | Developer: EA Mobile | Publisher: EA Mobile | Genre: Strategy | Networking: wireless (network)
Command and Conquer: Red Alert has been one of the most anticipated iPhone titles over the last couple of months, and although it's overshot its expected release date by a week or so it's finally rolled its massive war machine out onto the iPhone.

This sprawling adaptation of the hit PC franchise offers up a revamped touchscreen interface, allows you to command either the Soviet or Allied forces, and includes 12 combat levels and a variety of different environmental conditions in which to do battle.

Command and Conquer: Red Alert is also pioneering the iPhone's new emphasis on download content, with a free multiplayer plug-in coming soon, and the Empire of the Rising Sun expansion pack, which will add in a complete new faction with its own story, units and buildings.

We'll have a full review of Command and Conquer: Red Alert on iPhone very soon, but you can check out our hands on preview in the meantime or hit the 'Buy It!' button to head on over to the App Store straight away.

I might pick this up. I'm having too much fun with ELIMINATE at the moment though.
