Build an Inferno Tower and roast your foes in latest Clash of Clans update
Jump into the deep end
Finnish developer Supercell has added a sizable chunk of new content to its Gold Award-winning free-to-play build-'em-up Clash of Clans.
For starters, there's a brand-new defensive unit called the Inferno Tower, which shoots a white-hot stream of flames, capable of burning through even the toughest of armours.
Inferno Tower units are über-effective against large foes like Golems, but they're far from invulnerable. Swarms of smaller enemies will take them out if you're not careful.
After downloading this update, you can upgrade your town hall to level 10, and unlock additional cannon, archer tower, giant bomb, and dark elixir drill enhancements.
A level 10 town hall also allows you to unlock new heroic levels for the Barbarian King and Archer Queen units, and new upgrades for gadgets like the X-Bow.
This update also introduces an attack log feature and replays. Basically, you can now watch replays of your attacks, and view a record of the loot and trophies you've acquired throughout your adventures.
Supercell has made several interface tweaks and balanced the game's difficulty slightly in this update, too.
