The wait is over.

The multi-million-selling Call of Duty series has finally arrived on the App Store, complete with- wait a minute. Call TO Duty?

Never mind.

Call to Duty is a 3D first-person shooter that throws you into the army boots of various soldiers as you fight throughout several time periods and battles.

You control your trooper with slides of your finger, and shoot people in the face with a tap of your device's screen.

While we haven't played Call to Duty ourselves, one (almost certainly shill) five-star App Store review entitled "Just like the console" showers the game with praise.

"I waited forever for this game to come out. I love the game and love the controls which are perfect. Best game of 2011."

The one-star review left underneath it, however, appears to disagree: "Don't even bother paying for this game. It's not worth downloading for free. This game is garbage. Don't get duped."

If you want to find out which one is true, you can go and download Call to Duty for 69p/99c. Or, you could check out one of the developer's other titles, such as Genesis of War (GOW).

We won't bother supplying download links on this occasion.
