The game of "250" returns

Call of Duty Mobile's latest game mode addition sees Hardpoint make a triumphant return to the battlefield

Call of Duty Mobile has just lost a beloved game mode in Zombies, but also added some new things such as a map and the legendary character John "Soap" MacTavish. Now, another popular addition returns in Hardpoint, a long time game mode that fans are very familiar with.

If you follow Esports and have been watching the new Call of Duty League, then you'll know exactly what the mode is all about, as it is the most played mode in the league. If you're new and aren't familiar with it, then essentially, it's a race to 250 points.

It's your job to reach a "Hardpoint" location on the map, and once you enter the area, you and your team need to fend off your opponents. As you chill in the area, you'll gradually start to earn points for your squad, as you try to get to 250.

So it's all about defence in this game mode. And games can get pretty intense, as a lead can change in a short period of time, even if you feel like you're winning by a big margin.

The best part about Hardpoint coming back is that it's here to stay. Yup, so you don't have to worry about the fear of it getting pulled in the future.

The game will not only be available in multiplayer, but it will also be found in Ranked. So, no matter if you're about casual play or hardcore gaming, the mode will be there for you.

This will also give you a chance to experience the mode in the new map, "Cage", which is pretty tight to navigate it seems. A closed-in location like this could make for some epic Hardpoint matches.

Call of Duty Mobile is available as a free-to-play game on Google Play and the App Store
