Alright, bear with me because things might be a bit confusing at first. There's another Call of Duty mobile game on the way, but not the one you already know about from King. This one's being made by Tencent and Activision and so far only China will be getting it.

Back in May we got more news regarding King's Call of Duty mobile game after a job advertisement went up online. While it looks like that will bypass King's classic match-something style, it feels like Tencent and Activision's version may be a bit truer to form.

As reported on Business Wire earlier today, this Call of Duty game will deliver a first-person action experience featuring a collection of familiar characters, maps, modes, and weapons. It'll also be free-to-play, in keeping with Tencent's structure.

Rob Kostich, Executive Vice President of Call of Duty, said, "We’re working closely with one of Tencent's top mobile studios, Timi, to develop a fun and original Call of Duty experience that delivers superb gameplay and mechanics to mobile players."

While there may be a little bit of uncertainty floating around regarding this newest mobile adaption, Tencent has proved it can deliver a cracking experience time and time again - the latest of which was PUBG Mobile.

Don't forget, we've got a fantastic collection of guides to follow if you want to get the most out of PUBG Mobile.

There's no talk of a specific release date or whether there are any plans to expand its launch past China, but it will apparently be available on mobile in the coming months. We'll keep you updated when more news surfaces.

What do you guys think about this? Are you excited or is the thought of a new CoD mobile game as exciting as a trip to the dentist? Let us know in those comments below.
