Call of Duty Mobile just keeps getting bigger and better, and this time it's thanks to the latest mode to be introduced to the game, the classic and beloved Zombies mode. It just missed Halloween, but that's okay.

What you'll find in Call of Duty Mobile's latest mode is a faithful recreation of the wave-based mode that you're all too familiar with on console - at least mostly. Like any game mode in Call of Duty Mobile, things have been tweaked and changed around slightly. If you're an experienced Zombies player, you'll certainly have the edge, but there are new features to adjust to here too.

That's exactly why we've got this guide prepared for you. This will tell you what you can expect to find in Call of Duty Mobile's Zombies mode, both the new features and the unexpected.

Read on below for everything you need to know about Call of Duty Mobile's Zombies mode.

The zombies you know

For the most part, things are familiar and you will know what to expect. This is a brand new map, which is nice, but it acts the same as many others you've seen before. You will be running around, gunning down zombies, and building up defenses at choke points.

You'll be earning coins for building defenses and shooting down enemies, which you funnel into better weapons or opening up new parts of the map - and yes, this map is surprisingly large. Not quite on par with Call of Duty's console efforts, but certainly impressive.

You'll recognize many of the features, items, buffs, and much more. It's a good formula, so why change it too much, right?

The big thing you should be prepared for here - which shocked me - is that zombies can actually spawn anywhere, and don't need to enter the map through a window or a normal spawn point. This can mean things can get hectic very quickly without you expecting it, even if you've built up defenses. Unfortunate.

1
Gunning them down

This is obvious, right? Line up zombies, shoot them in the head. What more do you need to hear?

As in the usual zombies modes, you will be able to buy guns from the walls, which is nice if you want a reliable weapon that's easy to get new ammo for, but you'll definitely get better results - usually at least - from the Mystery Chest.

The Mystery Chest will give you a random weapon for a humble donation of coins, and it can truly gift you some powerful, fearsome weapons. And you'll want to make sure you have powerful weapons by the final round…

2
Upgrades, power ups

Zombies will often drop buffs and helpful items, which glow on the floor. An ammo refill, points multiplier, those are all nice, but don't go as far as the tonics.

You can buy tonics which will give you an extra revive, or an attack buff. These are incredibly helpful and will make moving through the zombie hoard way easier, so they're recommended.

Of course, the things zombies drop are nice, but you shouldn't rely on any one strategy.

3
Boss monsters

Finally, after the last wave, you will face off against a boss monster in a new arena, similar to in the Battle Royale mode.

You'll be facing off against a huge bullet sponge which you will want to keep your distance from, while shooting down zombies and other attackers. Make sure to keep your team able to fight, you will need their help.

Boss monsters do big damage, but luckily the stage will offer you rocket launchers to use, and the guns you can buy in the arena are very powerful.
