CSR Racing 2 remains one of the finest racing games on mobile. Visually impressive, content-packed, and excellent on the track, it's a racing enthusiast's dream come true. Now, Zynga is getting ready to introduce an all-new personalisation feature called Elite Customs, building upon the game's already extensive customisation options.

This completely revamps your in-game garage, offering enhancements over the current version's performance customisation for your car collection. You'll now have access to exclusive custom paints, liveries, and interior options, as well as wheel upgrades and license plate mods. Full control over vehicle decals is also now available, allowing you to add numbers, crew names, your name, and country flags to your collection.

You can earn some all-important Elite Parts by winning in the game's PVP Showdown mode. These can then be used to customise your collection and upgrade your vehicles' overall performance. The more victories you claim, the more Fusion Upgrades, Star Rarity Boosts, and RP Bonuses you'll earn.

"A huge appeal of CSR2 is that you can collect and race the cars of your dreams. With this feature, you can now customise your rides to showcase your racer identity," said Julian Widdows, Vice President of CSR2. "Elite Customs takes the performance of your cars to never-before-seen levels with additional fusion slots and better-fitted parts".

While you can only modify eight Legends vehicles as of right now, more are planned to be added in future.

We've covered CSR2 a fair bit since its arrival on iOS and Android in 2016. Our review from launch was mostly positive, with reviewer Matt Suckley calling it "an exceptionally pretty and compulsive drag racing game, but not a revolution". CSR2 has continued to morph and improve since then, maintaining a sizable playerbase along the way.

If you're yet to take it for a spin, you'll find CSR Racing 2 available for download now as a free-to-play title from both the App Store and Google Play.
