CRS Racing 2, one of the biggest and best racing games on mobile, has now launched its latest crossover event with major blockbuster Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw.

The event comes to us as part of a collaboration between Universal Games and Digital Platforms. It introduces characters from the smash-hit film, including Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson), Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham), and mysterious MI:6 agent Hattie Shaw (Vanessa Kirby).

They all appear in a series of limited-time events where players have the chance to race supercars like the Veilside Nissan Fairlady Z, Toyota Supra Aerotop, Veilside Mazda RX-7, Nissan Skyline GT-R (R34 NISMO S-tune), and more.

The event features a 75-race ladder which is divided into five phases. These will take place up until October, and they’ll include Hattie’s Folly and Hobbs’ Redemption. The events boast a varied selection of new cars, and you’ll ultimately have to decide whether you wish to side with Hobbs or Shaw.

The final section of the crossover is set to unlock special events for the Toyota Supra Aerotop, including a challenging 30-race ladder. The latest event is actually set to start today.

If you still haven’t got around to taking it for a spin, CSR Racing 2 is all about the experience of driving the fastest, most luxurious supercars that most of us could only ever dream of owning. It’s the ultimate fantasy for car lovers and drag-racing fanatics, though I reckon the fast-paced gameplay is accessible and fun enough to win over most everyone.

It also helps that it’s one of the most visually impressive games on mobile. In fact, it’s so pretty that we put out a video comparing it to PS4’s Driveclub from a few years back.

So, make a quick stop at the App Store or Google Play to download the free-to-play CSR Racing 2.
