At PGC Helsinki 2016, we caught up with Futureplay CEO Jami Laes who talked us through the update plans for Futureplay's portfolio of view to play games Farm Away! And Build Away!

To cut a long story short, you can expect to see a lot more for both games in a similar vein to the most recent update for Build Away!, which featured weekly and daily events in the form of scoops, and a bunch of dynamic events like moose to tap on and gain bonuses, and even aliens flying around.

Going forward, both games will see a greater focus on social features, including more events, competitive elements like leaderboards, and goals to complete.

You can also expect themed events around Halloween and Christmas. Here the games will likely be reskinned with a relevant theme.

Work is also being done to bring greater clarity to Build Away!, so you can expect to have a greater understanding of what each building brings to the table. New buildings will also be released, and there'll be incentive to revisit earlier buildings.

Farm Away! will also receive new crops and animals - as well as a bunch of new events, goals, and leaderboards.

Futureplay plans to continue to drip feed new content each month, so you won't have very long to wait until you see the updates in action. Stay tuned to Pocket Gamer, as we'll announce each one as it happens.
