With over 4.8 million daily players on Facebook, it's pretty clear that King.com's Bubble Witch Saga is a mighty popular game.

And now the bubble shooter is going to get popular all over again as it's released for iOS during July.

Of particular interest is that King.com is implementing a cross-platform log-in system so you can continue your Facebook session on iPad or iPhone, and vice versa.

A free-to-play game, it will arrive with all 150 levels offered on Facebook, with new levels being added on a weekly basis.

Addictive web

In terms of the gameplay, well that's all about keeping the witches' cauldron bubbling by shooting and popping bubbles that slowly move down the screen.

When you chain together consecutive bursts, then spiders appear. Adding a Peggle-style element, you can bounce bubbles off the spiders into the cauldrons to gain more points.

You can get an idea how it all works in the following video.
