Bubble Town puzzler heading for iPhone

Bubble Town was one of I-play's most successful mobile games this year, despite being one of its more under-the-radar titles when it originally came out.

It's been boosted by a hugely successful version on Facebook, which currently boasts over 540,000 monthly active users. So it's no surprise that the game is coming to iPhone next.

We've played it, too. The game is due out in January on the App Store, so I-play called us in for a go.

The new version certainly looks spiffing - the graphics are more like the original PC game (which was called Scrubbles) than the mobile edition.

If you're new to Bubble Town, well, the easiest comparison is Puzzle Bobble. You fire little faces from a cannon at other little faces, to make groups of three or more of the same design.

The iPhone version has revamped touchscreen controls, where you slide a slider at the bottom of the screen to aim, and tap on the cannon to fire. It'll have 31 levels to play through, too.

Interested? You haven't got long to wait. Click 'Track It' for an alert when we review the game.
