Gameloft's delayed shooter Brothers in Arms 3 will be out on iOS and Android in December

Gameloft's third-person shooter Brothers in Arms 3 is coming out on iOS and Android in December.

It's been a while since we heard anything about the game. It seemed to have disappeared. But last week we were able to find out what happened to it.

Turns out that Gameloft delayed Brothers in Arms 3 due to changing the game from an on-rails shooter to one with free movement.

Now you can use a virtual d-pad to move your character around, while they'll automatically get behind cover when you approach it.

According to Gameloft, this change to the game will encourage us to make more tactical decisions. As opposed to it being a mindless run-and-gunner as it was before, more or less.

You can find out more about Brothers in Arms 3 in our interview article. Hopefully the delay has been worth it - we'll find out next month.
