Broken Sword - The Smoking Mirror now compatible with 2nd-gen iOS devices

Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: Remastered received a sneaky update yesterday that fixed a few bugs.

More intriguingly, however, it also introduced backwards compatibility for second generation iOS devices.

Revolution added the feature after receiving numerous requests for its introduction.

The news will be welcome for those using an iPhone 3G, an older iPod touch or iOS 3.13, although the developer still recommends that the game is played on third and fourth generation devices running iOS 4.1. The game may not run at the optimum frame rate on older devices.

Broken Sword – The Smoking Mirror: Remastered received an impressive Silver Award from us when it was released last month, and a universal app is available for £3.99/$5.99.
