Brawl Stars is one of the hottest mobile games on the planet and doesn't really need an introduction. It has also started to become a juggernaut in the world of esports. With competitions happening all of the time and featuring the world's most famous mobile esports teams, it looks like it should rise up the ranks.

Fellow Supercell game Clash Royale is probably the king of mobile esports (ironically, the poster of the game features a king), but Brawl Stars' quick rise is nothing to ignore at all. It's a fun game and it's pretty easy to understand, making it easy for consumers.

But, if you're new to the experience, what are some good ways to play? There are three that seem to stand out a bit, but the choice is really up to you. It's a three-on-three battle to see who can collect the most gems. If your team collectively has the most by the end of the match, then you win. Here are a few ways you can play when firing up the game.

The Attacker

Let's face it. Who doesn't love charging into a match ready to unleash a flurry of attacks on your opponents? We've all been there before with any game, especially a multiplayer experience like Brawl Stars. Offense always seems like it's the most exciting, doesn't it?

Well, if that's your thing, then this playstyle is for you. Use your attacks to help defend your teammates while they try and gather gems. Sure, they can help you with the attack but then who shall gather those shiny gems? Of course, everybody will be able to attack, especially in a game as free-flowing as Brawl Stars.

With that said, some players may choose to be more aggressive than others. And despite not focusing on grabbing gems, you may end up getting some anyway. Most of the time, after killing an opponent, they will drop a few gems for you to snatch up.

The Collector

If you want to be more of a playmaker, then you could focus on being more of a collector. Instead of coming into a game packing and firing bullets all the time, you may want to put more energy into grabbing the gems. This means you'll need to do more dodging than attacking, really.

Maybe come in and use your Super when it's loaded up, but then it's back to collecting. The old saying is "Float like a butterfly and sting like a bee" and in this case, you're doing quite a bit of floating. But when the time is right, pull out that stinger.

This style of play is a great way to rack up the gems which also contributes to your overall score. It's a smooth, clean way to play Brawl Stars, but as always, the choice is up to you. Maybe try it in one match and see if you like this style or not.

The All-Around

Easily the most popular way to play Brawl Stars is by going back and forth between attacking and collecting gems. So essentially both of our previous tips put together. With the game being as loose as it is, it's very easy to end up having this style of play.

With this being a good way to play, what's the point of the other two styles then? Well, maybe you're a player who doesn't want to balance the two out so there are other ways to go about things. But, if you feel like you could do some double duty, then go for it.

But, feel free to play in different ways in the first few matches. Or, if you want, just mix it up, you can do that too. Experimenting is one of the underrated fun things you can do in Brawl Stars. Using different characters and playing in different ways is always a joy. When playing, just have fun with it.
